Mangi Mangi!

So I didn't plan this, but realized all of my topics (well, pictures, really) today regard food...or desserts at least! 

1.  I did some experimental baking the other day and came up with Rocky Road Brownies...a success in my chocolate-loving opinion!

2.  My dear friends Brooke and Wade tied the knot yesterday!  Maybe I'm biased because they're such good friends, but I'd say it was the best wedding I've experienced yet.  Elegant, beautiful, and sacred with personal touches throughout. 

It tasted as good as it looks!

3.  Fall = Pumpkins = Pumpkin-flavored EVERTHING!  Whoever thought of that was brilliant.  What could be better?  Pumpkin flavors year-round!

Ok, I did it.  I gave in.  I am now the proud (?) owner of a blog.  

So now what?  

Well, I saw "Vandylizer," my third--and final--concrete canoe, today for the first time since early May.  Have you ever invested so much time, energy, thought, and effort into something to only realize later that it could never love you back?  That's an empty feeling that I wish upon no one.  But I wouldn't trade the experience for anything.
